Spirited – Women Artists from the Ingram Collection of Modern British Art: Public Programme

Berwick Educational Association in partnership with Berwick Visual Arts present a programme of exhibition, tours and lectures which celebrates the work of women artists in this the centenary year of the of the Representation of the People Act and examines the techniques, subjects and concerns and contributions of 20c women artists, drawing their inspiration from work on display in the ‘Spirited’ exhibition. 
 
Exhibition Guided Tours led by Professor Maria Chester

2, 7, 15, 21 June / 5, 12, 19, 27 July / 4, 11, 15, 25, 31 August / 6, 22, 28 September / 
4, 13 October (1-2pm on all dates).

Practical Art Workshops 
YHA Berwick, all sessions 10am-3pm 
Six art workshops inspired by the works of women artists in the Spirited exhibition, led by artist Gill Walton and Professor Maria Chester. Each workshop begins with a tour of the exhibition. 
 
 
Lectures Series with Professor Maria Chester 
Henry Travers Studio, The Maltings 
 
15 June - 10am - 12pm 
£6, followed by a tour of the exhibition between 1 - 2pm for an additional £3 
 
27 July – 10am - 12pm 
£6, followed by a tour of the exhibition between 1 - 2pm for an additional £3 
 
15 August 10am - 12pm 
£6, followed by a tour of the exhibition between 1 - 2pm for an additional £3
